It is thus important to have proper knowledge about cuisine trends that we wish to implement at the events. A great introduction to cultures is their cuisine. Very correctly said - it not only reflects their evolution but also their beliefs and traditions. It should be remarked that Indian society is blessed with the multi-cuisine tradition and has also grasped multinational cuisines very rapidly. We find tremendous variety in India when it comes to the food. Here are few cuisines all corporate would like to have for their event -

 

1) Punjabi Cuisine -

Punjabi Cuisine is known for its mouthwatering and tempting dishes. Its special form of tandoori cooking style is famous in UK, Canada and many parts of the world. Dairy products form an important component of Punjabi diet. Chole, Paratha, Halwa, Poori, Bhatoora, Falooda, Makhni-Doodhi, Lassi, Aloo Paratha and much more... It almost leaves a tempting feeling in your mind. Its constituents make the dish colorful and buttery. The staple food of the Punjab is Wheat Roti accompanied with Legumes, Sabzis, Dals and Rice dishes. Dishes made from paneer are the authentic Punjabi snacks prepared in the tandoor style. People in Punjab make liberal use of desi ghee and cream to make the food lip smacking. Punjabi non-veg recipes like Pattehr Kabab, Achari Mutton, Masala Chop and Chicken Makhani are also known for its desi finger licking taste. Patiala Pangat restaurant in Gujarat is known for its Punjabi cuisine and ample amount of space for conducting events. 2) Goan Cuisine -

A spicy Coconut and Kokum Curry leaves a zingy taste on our taste buds. Different varieties of pickles and papads, sweets made from Rice and Lentils, dishes made from Beans and Cashews are too tasty. Catholic cuisine is a combination of the Indian and Portuguese cooking style. Prawn Curry, sweetened Rice Custard, Beef Rolls and a dry Rice Cake are few of them. Goan cuisine is a combination of the heavenly meal. It's combination of the hot and spicy meal. Seafood like Prawns, Lobsters, Pomfrets, Crabs, Mussels, Ladyfish etc. are used to make various curries, fries, soups and pickles. So if you are planning to have Goan cuisines at the event don’t forget to pack a healthy appetite! 

 

3) Chinese Cuisine -

Most of the Indians enjoy Chinese Cuisine. Its dishes include hot Chilli, Ginger, Garlic, Sesame Seeds, Dry Red Chilli, Black Pepper and Yoghurt. Chinese desserts include chilled ice-creams, Honey filled noodles or Date pancakes. Northern Chinese food simple and salty with wheat as its main ingredient. Eastern Chinese food includes sweet and light dishes. Central Chinese food has its spicy charm with lots of seasonings. Most of these dishes have its own medicinal value. Cooking techniques such as braising, stewing and baking are implemented. Chinese dishes stress on appearances, smell and taste and thus attain an important place in the corporate events. Its aromatic flavors and excellent taste attracts everyone and is appreciated by one and all. It is popularly advised cuisine in the corporate world for hosting events.

 

4) Italian Cuisine -

Desserts and party dishes include Biscotti, Fruity, Gelato etc. A lot of heart-healthy Olive oil is used for preparing Italian dishes and thus food is healthy for everyone. It follows the Mediterranean pattern and thus attracts most of the corporates. Its medicinal values help in the weight loss, control sugar level and reduce the risk of depression. Most of the workaholic people are prone to depression and thus Italian food is more suitable for them. Finger licking Italian food is a harmonious combination of the ingredients.
